Red DeerRed Deer
It was Sunday, and I sat in the back
Of the sanctuary
I take out my sketchbook
Without hesitation
And begin to draw as I pleased.
Then all of a sudden, I have a visitor
Come sit next to me.
He looked just like him
With me hoping that he were the same person
And this not a dream
But he looked like him
And my heart began to race.
I continued sketching
With a red pencil,
Glancing at times to study his face,
Concentrated, appreciative and kind,
And I saw
Without him noticing.
I went on with my work
And I felt the red deer I drew come to life.
Does and bucks so swiftly drawn,
Their graceful figures
Fascinating to his bright eyes.
Soon enough, this illusion ended
With the wake of dawn,
Leaving me

1. For each of the first 20 people to comment to this journal, I will feature one of their OCs. I'll even tell you what I like about the OC and/or their pairing. (20 is a lot...but I'll say things about 20 anyway.)

2. If you comment, you have to do the Same in your journal, putting the tagger on in the first slot. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone! (BTW if you do this, I DON'T CARE IF YOU DO ALL 20. I think it's a bit of a large number, so I completely understand if you shorten the number.)

This is Jessler Crowntop and picking an OC from Shear was very difficult, because she has a lot of characters and many I love

due to my being a huge fan of MLP, Jessler Crowntop won hooves down

and the pairing between Jessler and Rocky--is adorable

I love Jessler's design there aren't that many white pegasi OC's and Jessler makes the white design look so sleek and gorgeous. The tributes to the deck of cards and Hawaii, Jessler wears the iconic hibiscus flower; makes the mare even more memorable.
2.

Picking out an OC for Ophie was tough; I've known my sister for 3 years and she has made so many loveable and memorable OC's I found myself narrowing choices down to ten and even then that was difficult. So here's my choice...

There are so many things I love about Lucky Curse. She's a mother and that is a big character trait most MLP characters don't start off with. Lucky is also an Alicorn OC done RIGHT! I give Ophie lots of credit for creating an OC of Alicorn background, especially with the crap thrown towards the species by trolling MLP bronies, because they thinks it's mary suish...which it's not. Lucky Curse has a well written background. My third reason for liking her is the fact that her love interest isn't another pony--but a dragon

I am a big fan of interspecies relationships so this romance between alicorn and dragon really made my heart soar. Also these two are mates and created Gemmy Peridot together

I picked another My Little Pony OC but I just found this OC so endearing.

Moonlight Wishes takes a special place in my heart. She is the only unicorn out the OC ponies in our group of friends. Moonlight's gothic appearance is a big contrast to the MLP shows color scheme and that brings a unique look to her character. Her overall character is sweet to look into. What Twilight is to Celestia--Moonlight is to Luna. Moonlight has a fascination with books that revolves around dreams. It's nice to have a unicorn OC prancing happily in the group.

Bella Discordia

is freaking adorable. She is also the first child OC for Discord. When I first saw this character I always wondered who the mother is XD Bella Discordia has a lot of her father's characteristics and that just makes her even more interesting to read about. I do like the fact that Discord's child OC's are usually daughters

I think it's nice to see this chaotic creature taking care of a girl

Now that I am having more time to myself; with classes coming on an end for the summer, soon. I have decided to make Youtube videos of me discussing stuff about myself that I wouldn't say to those on DA. The video I made is of me doing a TAG on being Multiracial. Technically it's also for people who are Biracial but seeing how I am more than one race, I answer the questions to the tag.

I do apologize for the chirping in the video, Lydia doesn't like it when her mommy, ignores her XDDDD

I will not only talk about being mixed but also judgement towards people with tattoos and piercings (trust me I have a lot to vent towards those kinds of people who judge others like that.)

I'm fond of drawing for fun and nothing more. I don't desire to make a career out of drawing, everything I do, even improving my skills is for the sake of creating fun art for myself and for those I know. I also write different stories, another fun hobby of mine, and I do put a lot of my spare time towards my stories...I do write a lot XD

I do play music, I'm a bassist, I chose the instrument, because 1) bass guitar's rock

and 2) I find that the bass is very important in music and feel honored to play it, I've been playing for five months now and began working on writing music for the bass

I have caught on fast with the instrument. I'd just wish people didn't look at the bass as some ordinary instrument with no purpose.

I have a love for piercings and tattoos

I find nothing wrong with alternative styles, seeing how my life is revolved around it. I do think it's rather ignorant of someone to think tattoos or piercings are 'gross' or any other negative term. As long as the person is happy with it, what they do with their body is none of your business.

I feel the same way with smokers and drinkers, because I know people who smoke or drink and they are some awesome people. They know I don't smoke so they don't do it around me out of respect. But in return I'm not going to preach to them about how gross it is. I guarantee everyone is doing at least one thing that is actually harmful to their body and probably don't know it.

I don't drink but I know people who do and as long as they are drinking responsibly, I say enjoy it.

Look life is too short, I say enjoy doing what you love, because tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. Be happy.

Though I am pretty different from other girls growing up, because I didn't want to date in high school, I just wanted to be left alone. The only thing that matters to me is getting my education and that theory still stands today, now that I'm in college. I'm also a family lady, I love to be around my brother, mother and father. I do have a strong relationship with them; yeah we have our moments of disagreement but overall my family is badass

My parents showed patience when I went through countless musical instruments growing up. When I was 14 I started collecting martial arts weapons and my parents were and still are, supportive of my collection.

I played a lot of video games with my bro, to the point I found having female friends pretty dull and boring. All they do is talk about which dude as the cutest ass. Me
, I was too busy getting through levels and enjoying the awesome soundtrack of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest.

The moment I got into video games, I stopped watching Disney movies XD I look back and I have to say, besides Mulan (I know she isn't a Princess) , because even when I was a little girl, I thought swords were cool. I actually can't stand any of the Disney Princess's they either come off as being, stupid, dull, or bratty...and I dare go far to say, hypocritical.

And their men come off as looking metrosexual XD

So I don't dislike Disney as a whole...just their lame female characters XD

I love anime, big fan but I do get irritated with some of the concepts and story lines =A=;; I adore watching Korean romantic comedy movies

I'm trying to find an Asian drama whether it's Chinese, Japanese or Korean, where the main girl isn't weak or whiny. There tends to be a trend of these type of characters .

I have two baby girls...Angel my soon-to-be ten year old snowshoe cat and Lydia, my cockatiel. Both are time demanding divas. Angel will meow loudly if not getting the attention she deserves and Lydia will make this ear piercing squawk if she isn't getting any attention. tending to two pets is very time consuming but the reward is worth it in the end.

In another month another female cockatiel will be entering our house in February, my mother will be getting her own pet.

I think Angel is more the family's cat rather than my pet, but Lydia does belong to me ^U^
